Among its curiosities, the people of the area attribute miraculous character to the lock of the hermitage: it is said that whoever touches it can recover the lost fertility.
The hexagonal shape and the well that is hidden inside are beautiful.
At the place where the relics of San Medardo were found, the present hermitage was built with an artistic fence surrounding the same spring. This spring is conserved inside the hermitage and its water comes out through the mouths of two bronze ox heads.
